February is here and love seems to be all around. With Valentine’s Day on February 14, stores, commercials, restaurants, schools and mailboxes are filled with red and pink hearts and messages of love.

Here at Gilda’s Club, we’re also celebrating another very special occasion this February-our birthday! We celebrate our 9th anniversary in 2010 and look forward to making this day extra special for you, our members, on February 12 with “The Magic of Gilda’s!” from 6 to 8 pm at the Grand Rapids Clubhouse. Come join us for a deliciously fun meal and magical entertainment for the whole family. We are honored and grateful to our generous community for the chance to celebrate 9 wonderful years of learning, sharing and laughing together.

During this month of love and celebration, we hope that you feel strong support from your Gilda’s Club community. Our members are here for you on your cancer or grief journey. The front doors of our Clubhouses are bright red and open to you, and not just for Valentine’s Day. Please know that beyond these red doors are people to help support you, no matter where you are on your journey.
