This year's Camp Sparkle theme is "Friendship Around the World." Camp begins on July 9 and continues each Tuesday through August 14. Camp Sparkle is a day camp for children grades 1st through 4th impacted by cancer or grief and takes place at Gilda's Club Grand Rapids. Volunteers are needed to help as youth camper leaders, assist with crafts, and to run the registration table. Email Jacqueline with any interest or questions JScherer@gildasclubgr.org.
Ask any kid, and you'll discover that snack time is an essential part of the day– and Camp Sparkle is no exception! National Cancer Survivor's Day
Volunteers are needed to help with food set-up & serving for our National Cancer Survivors Day event on Friday, May 31st. Set up and food prep will be from 3-6 pm and serving is from 6-8 pm. Please email Barbara Williams, at email@example.com if you're interested in helping out.
