Greetings Gilda's Club Volunteers!

2012 is here and we welcome you to join us as we move into an exciting year ahead! With so many new volunteers and some new staff members joining the Gilda's Club team, we are thrilled to work together to maintain the free programming that Gilda's Club offers to our members. Please take a look at upcoming volunteer opportunities in February and contact me with any interest or questions you have! Keep Laughing!

JOIN A VOLUNTEER TEAM

We are asking our volunteers to identify one of three areas that they feel best suits their interests. Here is a brief overview of our developing system. If you are interested in a specific area, please contact Jenna. More information will be coming soon.
  • VOLUNTEER – for those interested in supporting the administrative, grounds, behind-the-scenes and fundraising event needs of Gilda's Club. Individual teams will include: Clubhouse Cleaning & Decorating, Garden & Grounds, Marketing/Community Relations, Social Media, Office/Administrative, Fundraising, Mailing, Parking, and Merchandise.

  • PROGRAM VOLUNTEER– for those interested in directly supporting our mission and program, yet not in specific program sessions. Individual teams will include: Social Events, Noogieland, Parlor Host/Receptionist, Community Relations, Meals, and Speakers.

  • DIRECT PROGRAM SUPPORT– for those interested in working most directly to assist our staff in specific program sessions with members in the cancer or grief support program. Individual teams will include: Mentors, Program Hosts, Program Resource Team, Youth Program Team, Program Instructor Team, and Member Feedback Team.

*You may also join the "It's Always Something" Team to receive notices for last-minute needs, regardless of other team involvement.*
