Children’s Education & Activity Program Staff – Part-time – 8 hours per week 

Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids, a cancer and grief support organization, is seeking a part-time staff member to oversee our children’s education and activity program on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 4:30-8:30pm. This person would assist in planning, organizing and carrying out developmentally appropriate activities for children ages 7 and under. They will be expected to actively engage in play, facilitate grief and cancer curriculum activities, supervise children to keep them safe, and react quickly to prevent accident and injuries.  They will also schedule and oversee volunteers and interact with parents.

Knowledge of growth and development of young children preferred.

Office Coordinator – Part Time – 25 hours per week estimated
Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time Office Coordinator to coordinate various office tasks and functions to ensure office operations run smoothly and effectively.  This position will work across the organization with the GC team, providing support in a number of ways, including but not limited to: maintaining office equipment, light IT troubleshooting, serve as liaison for IT vendor, open mail and document donations, support various HR related tasks, assist with internal meetings, etc.  As a member of a small and strong team with an important mission, this position requires a high degree of flexibility, coordination with others, ability to work independently, and demonstrate compassion, confidentiality and trustworthiness with a “can do” attitude.
