Camp Sparkle

Calling all campers – add some sparkle to your summer!

Join us at our 2024 Camp Sparkle! An annual day camp for children ages 5-11* impacted by cancer or grief, Camp Sparkle brings together children journeying life’s tough stuff to explore ways of coping with cancer or grief that support overall emotional health.

This year there are two camp sessions!

Grief Camp is June 24, 26 & 28, 9:15 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Cancer Camp is July 8, 10 & 12, 9:15 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Campers do not have to be a Gilda’s Club member to participate and are welcome to join in as many days of camp they can make!
Pre-Registration is required to participate in Camp.

Camp is jam packed with activities focusing on emotional intelligence and well-being and features a number of community partners like the Grand Rapids Symphony, Drums for All with Josh Dunigan and the Grand Rapids Public Library. Camp Sparkle is facilitated by Gilda’s Club professional program staff, and supported by trained volunteers. Campers are welcome to attend any or all dates that fit in their schedule. We will also welcome the whole family to join us from 1-3 p.m. on the last day of camp.

Please fill out the form below to register your camper(s) and our childhood coordinator, Chelsey Faust, will reach out to you directly to confirm their spot.
